A day at the park

Our weather has been so nice this past week that we decided to take advantage of it and plan a fun day at the park with friends. We started out our outing with a trip to the bakery at Bowmans grocery store. We have a friend who is one of the bakers there and they have the yummiest baked goods. The kids each picked out their donuts and we were off to the park. Here are some pictures of some of the kids showing off their yummy treats. Mmmm they were good.

Logan and Spencer riding on the big red swing. Logan can't get enough of Spencer these days. They became buddies in nursery at church and just recently started playing outside of nursery. Logan now asks everyday if he can play with Spencer.

Lauren showing off her monkey skills. That girl can seriously climb anything. To this day we still don't have a dresser in her room for fear of her climbing it and it tipping over on her.

Lauren has also made a new good friend recently. Libbi is in her class at school and they just love to play together. Her older sister Cali really likes to play with Lauren also, so it's usually the three of them running around together. It is fun for me to see my kids making new friends. I remember the days when you could just walk up to a kid and say hi my name is ... do you want to be my friend. Only if it was that easy as an adult. Atleast we have our kids to relive those days through.

We had a super fun day out in the perfect weather. I hope it stays this nice for a little longer so we can get in a few more of these fun outdoor days before it gets too cold. Thanks Lindsay and Brenda for a fun afternoon!!
